I am running for Harris County Treasurer because our residents deserve leadership that is transparent, accountable,

and focused on serving the public, not politics.

As a lifelong Harris County resident, a mother of three, and the proud daughter of a law enforcement family, I have seen firsthand how county decisions affect families, businesses, and communities. Those experiences shaped my belief that public service should always be rooted in responsibility, fairness, and trust.

I have built my career inside county government, working behind the scenes to ensure public funds are managed ethically and responsibly.

I understand how county systems function

because I work within them every day.

For the past several years, I have served the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, rising through the ranks from Records Specialist to Administrative Assistant II, and now Accounting Analyst.

 

Today, I proudly serve as the Department Card Administrator, responsible for reviewing and reconciling county-issued card purchases across the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, one of the largest law enforcement agencies in the nation.

In this role, I have strengthened financial oversight, improved processes, and helped ensure taxpayer dollars are used appropriately and efficiently. I understand that every dollar matters because it comes from the people who live and work in Harris County.

I am continuing my degree in Communications, with minors in Finance and Political Science, because I believe leadership requires preparation, discipline, and a commitment to continuous learning. Good government is not about titles or politics. It's about doing the work and doing it well; that's who I am.

The truth is, the Treasurer’s Office has long been overlooked, operating quietly and underutilized while remaining disconnected from the public it serves. It should be more than an administrative function. It should be a trusted steward of public funds and a transparent resource for the community. And that is exactly what I will build, because Harris County deserves nothing less.

As Treasurer, I will bring visibility, accountability, and integrity to the office. I will work to modernize financial systems, increase transparency, and ensure public funds are protected and managed responsibly.​​
